Abstract

Mental health literacy is a crucial ability for maintaining healthy development and has a profound and long-lasting promoting effect on an individual's subjective well-being.This study conducted two longitudinal follow-up surveys on 457 students from two secondary vocational schools in Yueyang City.The latent transition analysis method was employed to explore the heterogeneity of mental health literacy among secondary vocational students,and multivariate analysis of variance was used to reveal the impact of different categories of mental health literacy on subjective well-being.The results indicate that mental health literacy among secondary vocational students exhibits group heterogeneity;the categories of mental health literacy among these students can undergo transitions;and there are consistent cross-time differences in subjective well-being among individuals of different categories.Based on these findings,enhancing students'well-being should be prioritized in school mental health education efforts;standardized and regular assessments should be conducted to categorically improve students'mental health literacy.
