新兴经济体收入不平等对国民幸福感的影响
The influence of income inequality on national happiness in emerging economies
摘要
Abstract
The ultimate goal of national economic development is to maximize national welfare. How to improve national well-being has become the core issue of governments. In the past decades,with the continuous economic development of countries and regions,the income gap has shown a widening trend. Based on the theory of opportunity inequality and informal institutions,the paper constructs a model of the moderating effect of social equity and social capital,and uses World Values Survey (WVS) and standardized World Income Inequality ( SWIID) data to explore the impact of income inequality on national happiness in emerging economies. The results show that there is an inverted U-shaped relationship between income inequality and national happiness in emerging economies,and the positive mediating effect of social equity is stronger than the negative mediating effect of social capital. The higher the degree of social equity in emerging economies,the higher the level of national happiness,and the stronger the positive impact of income inequality on national happiness. The higher the level of social capital in emerging economies,the higher the level of national happiness,and the positive impact of income inequality on national happiness has been weakening.关键词
