有机化水滑石改性沥青及其混合料性能研究
Study on performance of organic hydrotalcite-modified asphalt and its mixtures

Abstract
[Purposes]This paper aims to study the influence of organic hydrotalcite on the road performance of asphalt and asphalt mixtures.[Methods]Firstly,titanate coupling agent TM201 and stearic acid were used to process the commonly used magnesium-aluminum synthetic hydrotalcite AC-03 in an organic manner,so as to obtain organic hydrotalcite of titanate coupling agent TM-03 and that of stearic acid JC-03.Then,three kinds of hydrotalcite,namely AC-03,TM-03,and JC-03(with mass fractions respectively set as 1%,3%,5%,and 7%)were added to 70#matrix asphalt to prepare organic hydrotalcite-modified asphalt of different types.Moreover,tests for three major indicators and high-temperature and low-temperature rheological properties of the modified asphalt were carried out,and microscopic observations were conducted using a scanning electron microscope.Finally,the three types of hydrotalcite were used to modify the matrix asphalt and SBS-modified asphalt to prepare continuous dense-graded asphalt mixture(AC-13)and asphalt mastic gravel mixture(SMA-13).The rutting test,low-temperature trabecular bending test,and immersion Marshall test were carried out to evaluate the high-temperature rutting resistance,low-temperature cracking resistance,and water stability of the mixtures.[Findings]When the mass fraction of AC-03,TM-03,and JC-03 is more than 3%,the rising trend of the softening point of modified asphalt and the downward trend of penetration gradually slow down with the increase in mass fraction of hydrotalcite,and the ductility decreases sharply.When the mass fraction is 3%,the high-temperature rheological properties of modified asphalt are greatly improved,and the low-temperature rheological properties are less affected.Through the observation of scanning electron microscope,it can be seen that JC-03 has the best compatibility with asphalt;the dynamic stability,maximum bending strength,and residual stability of JC-03-modified asphalt mixture are 10.3%,6.5%,and 6.4%higher than those of matrix asphalt mixture.The dynamic stability and residual stability of the SBS-modified asphalt mixture with JC-03 added are 4.7%and 6.3%higher than those of the SBS-modified asphalt mixture,but the improvement effect of low-temperature cracking resistance is not significant.[Conclusions]The optimum content of the three types of hydrotalcite is 3%.In terms of performance,the three kinds of hydrotalcite-modified asphalt in descending order are JC-03-modified asphalt,TM-03-modified asphalt,and AC-03-modified asphalt.In addition,the overall road performance of the asphalt mixture with JC-03 added is the best.The research results have significant application value in the field of engineering practice.关键词
