摘要

Abstract

Asarum heterotropoides Fr.Schmidt,as a potential botanical pesticide,is increasingly gaining attention.In this study,Asarum heterotropoides Fr.Schmidt var.mandshuricum(Maxim)Kitag was used as material to explore the bioactivity effect of A.heterotropoldes extracts on Cae-norhabditis elegans.The results showed that the 24 h half lethal concentration(LC50)of the volatile oil of A.beisarensis against C.elegans was 907 mg/L,and its nematicidal activity was significantly better than that of petroleum ether layer extract(P<0.05).The average lifespan and maximum lifes-pan of nematodes in the volatile oil-exposed group were shortened by 27.71%and 25.00%,respec-tively,while the phenotypic parameters such as exercise capacity,body length and oviposition were significantly inhibited.Further biochemical analysis showed that volatile oil could synergistically in-hibit superoxide dismutase(SOD),catalase(CAT)and acetylcholinesterase(AChE),which are key defense enzyme systems of nematodes,resulting in increased lipofuscin accumulation and up-regulation of apoptosis.These results indicated that the toxic effect of the volatile oil was the result of the synergistic effects of developmental toxicity,reproductive toxicity,cytotoxicity and neurotoxicity.
