Abstract

In the context of the coordinated development of urbanization and heritage protection,the phenomenon of vitality differences in historical and cultural districts reflects the complex mechanisms driven by multiple factors.The paper focuses on Sanfang Qixiang and Shangxiahang in Fuzhou,integrating multi-source data such as Baidu heat maps,ArcGIS spatial analysis,and policy texts to quantitatively analyze the vitality characteristics of historical and cultural districts and their driving factors.The study systematically explores the impacts of policy orientation,business structure,cultural resources,transportation accessibility,and infrastructure configuration on spatial vitality.The findings indicate that differences in the"early advantage"and"execution depth"of policy tools form institutional causes for vitality disparities;the differentiation in business structure reveals two types of activation logic:"cultural empowerment"and"traffic-driven";variations in cultural resource activation strategies lead to diversified values and vitality forms;and the contribution of subway accessibility to vitality enhancement is significantly higher than that of buses,while differences in road network density and infrastructure configuration further reinforce the gradient of service efficiency between the two districts.
