Abstract
As the construction industry continues to evolve,the significance of project cost management has become increasingly evident.Traditional cost management approaches often exhibit a lack of cohesion across various phases,resulting in frequent budget overruns and highlighting the urgent need for the implementation of systematic control methodologies.This paper explores the enhancement of comprehensive cost management in construction projects through the application of value engineering principles and a holistic risk control framework.By improving management efficiency via value engineering and establishing a reciprocal relationship among risk identification,assessment,and control through risk map,this research aims to optimize project cost management.Empirical case studies demonstrate that the optimization strategies proposed herein effectively mitigate cost expenditures and enhance investment returns,thereby offering innovative concepts and methodologies for the whole process cost management in construction projects.关键词
