Abstract
This paper examines design strategies related to the renovation and expansion of medical facilities in the context of urban renewal.Noting the scarcity of research that integrates urban renewal with the renovation and expansion of medical buildings,this study adopts an innovative approach by considering the broader implications of urban renewal,thereby transcending the conventional design focus that is limited to the building itself.Utilizing the Phase Ⅱ renovation and expansion project of Qingdao Central Hospital as a case study,the paper proposes design strategies across three key dimensions:Overall layout,traffic planning,and medical coordination.These strategies aim to provide novel insights and methodologies for the renovation and expansion of medical buildings,ultimately enhancing the quality of medical services and fostering sustainable urban development.关键词
