摘要

Abstract

The small GTPase proteins ROP are a class of signal transduction proteins unique to plants and play impor-tant roles in various aspects of plant growth and development.However,research on soybean(Glycine max)ROP genes(GmROP)remains limited.This study comprehensively used bioinformatics methods to identify and systematically ana-lyze the GmROP gene family members.The results indicated that 20 GmROP genes were identified in the soybean ge-nome,mainly as a result of segmental duplication events.Predictions regarding subcellular localization showed that these proteins were primarily distributed in chloroplasts and the cytoplasm.The gene promoters contain a large number of hor-mone response and abiotic stress elements.GmROP gene were structurally stable and had undergone strong purifying se-lection during the process of evolution.Tissue expression level analysis revealed that multiple GmROP genes were differ-entially expressed in various tissues,with GmROP1a and GmROP6a being more highly expressed compared to other genes.GmROP8a was highly expressed in stem tissue and significantly higher in the thick-stemmed varieties than in the thin-stemmed ones.The findings of this study lay the foundation for further in-depth research on the function of GmROP genes in soybean stem development.
