Abstract
Marek's disease,a lymphoproliferative disorder caused by Marek's disease virus,is highly contagious and infectious,with high morbidity and mortality rates.It poses significant threats to poultry farmers'economic returns and the sustainable development of the poultry industry.In October 2024,a self-breeding Silkie fowl farm in Yunnan Province reported a flock of 70-to 75-day-old chickens exhibiting symptoms such as anorexia and indigestion.Through comprehensive diagnosis involving epidemiological investigation,clinical manifestations,pathological autopsy,and quantitative fluorescent PCR detection,the outbreak was confirmed as Marek's disease.Targeted prevention and control measures were subsequently implemented,effectively containing the outbreak.This article documents and analyzes the diagnostic and management process of this case to provide insights for the diagnosis and prevention of Marek's disease in clinical settings.关键词
