Research Progress on the Liquid-Liquid Phase Transition of Metallic Glass Formation in Liquids
摘要
Abstract
Disordered and amorphous systems are currently important areas of research in materials science,with metallic glass attracting significant attention due to its unique structure and properties.Metallic glass inher-its the structural characteristics of liquids during the cooling process,and the structure of high-temperature liq-uids directly affects the glass transition and the final properties of metallic glass.The study of liquid structure and its properties has been a hot topic in condensed matter physics and materials science.Liquid-liquid phase transition is an important phase transition phenomenon that occurs under specific conditions,marked by signifi-cant changes in liquid structure,and plays a crucial role in amorphous and complex liquid systems.This phe-nomenon not only possesses important fundamental scientific value but also shows broad application prospects in the development of new materials and phase change energy storage.This paper systematically reviews the microscopic mechanisms,research methods and main systems of liquid-liquid phase transition from the funda-mental perspectives of thermodynamics and kinetics,and discusses future development directions based on the latest research progress.关键词
