Dyeing mechanism of the photodynamic antimicrobial agent Rose Bengal on protein fibers
摘要
Abstract
In order to promote the development of dyeing-antimicrobial integration technology,herein,the dyeing mechanism,photodynamic antimicrobial performance and the relationship between them of protein fibers adsorbed by Rose Bengal(RB)were studied.The results showed that the adsorption model of RB on protein fibers was consistent with Lang-muir adsorption,with good dyeing affinity,and the dyeing saturation adsorption amount increased with increasing tempera-ture.In terms of adsorption kinetics,the equilibrium dyeing amount and dyeing rate increased,the half-dyeing time de-creased,and the dyeing efficiency improved when the temperature increased.Despite the tendency of protein fiber itself to promote bacterial growth,the photodynamic antimicrobial properties overcame the deficiencies of the substrate itself to reach an optimum of up to 96.288 0%against Staphylococcus aureus when the RB dyeing concentration reached 6%(omf).关键词
