实验室管理赋能研究生培养质量提升路径探索
Exploring the path of laboratory management enabling the quality improvement of graduate student cultivation:Based on the analysis of questionnaire research in 25 universities

Abstract
[Objective]This study examines the educational function of university laboratories in graduate student development,with a specific focus on evaluating current satisfaction levels regarding open sharing mechanisms and management team effectiveness.Through this investigation,the paper offers valuable perspectives for improving graduate students'research competencies and comprehensive skill development.[Methods]From February 2024 to January 2025,the author conducted a multi-center,large-sample survey with complex statistical analysis using a self-designed questionnaire administered via Tencent Questionnaire.The study involved 666 master's and doctoral students from 25 universities across China,including 18"Double First-Class"institutions.The sample was geographically diverse,covering six major regions:East China,South China,North China,Central China,Northwest China,and Southwest China.Due to its broad distribution across key academic hubs and its substantial sample size,this survey demonstrates strong representativeness and reliability.[Results]Female graduate students'scores for"current status of open sharing and management teams(29.00[26.00,38.00]),satisfaction with the role in cultivating talent(22.00[20.00,30.00]),and overall questionnaire satisfaction(51.50[45.00,67.00])"were all lower than those of male graduate students(34.00[27.00,42.00],27.00[20.00,30.00],and 61.00[47.50,72.00],respectively),with all P-values≤0.001.Master's students'scores for"current status of open sharing and management teams(31.00[27.00,39.00]),satisfaction with the role in cultivating talent(24.00[20.00,30.00]),and overall questionnaire satisfaction(55.00[46.00,69.00])"were all lower than those of doctoral students(35.50[28.00,42.00],28.50[20.00,30.00],and 63.00[48.00,72.00],respectively),with all P-values<0.05.The"current status of open sharing and management teams"score was positively correlated with the"satisfaction with the role in cultivating talent"score,with a standardized regression coefficient β=0.866.The self-designed scale demonstrated high reliability and validity(overall Cronbach's α=0.973≈1,KMO value for structural validity=0.978>0.6,Bartlett's sphericity test,P<0.001).The combined proportion of"very satisfied"and"basically satisfied"responses among graduate students regarding the"current status of open sharing and management teams,role in cultivating talent,and overall satisfaction"exceeded 70%.Graduate students who were in 8/9-year programs,aged 36~40,doctoral candidates,male,full-time,and had one or more years of overseas study experience reported higher proportions of"very satisfied"ratings for the"current status of open sharing and management teams,role in cultivating talent,and overall satisfaction"compared to other students.Third-year students,those in 3~5 year programs,master's students,female students,part-time students,and those without overseas study experience reported higher proportions of"dissatisfied"ratings for the"current status of open sharing and management teams,role in cultivating talent,and overall satisfaction"compared to other students.[Conclusions]To achieve laboratory management that empowers the improvement of postgraduate cultivation quality,it is necessary to focus on senior postgraduates,master's students,female postgraduates,and part-time postgraduates.Based on the analysis of survey data and open-ended questions,the following improvement suggestions and paths are proposed:optimizing the comprehensive laboratory management mechanism,combining it with the actual implementation of a peer management model for postgraduates that integrates teaching assistants,research assistants,and management assistants,and designing and expanding the content and training system of core experimental skills courses for postgraduates can significantly improve the quality of postgraduate cultivation.关键词
