Optimization Design and Verification of Pure Nitrogen Laminar Plasma Torchs
摘要
Abstract
To improve the jet characteristics of pure laminar plasma torch,including the working power,jet stability and service life of the main components,the jet characteristics of a home-made laminar plasma torch are explored to optimize the main components.According to the experimental results,the following components are optimized:the arc chamber length is prolonged by 10 mm to increase the working power,the stepped anode is adopted to improve the jet stability,and the cooling structure of the main components is optimized to improve the service life.In addition,the corresponding experiments are conducted to verify the optimization,and the experimental results show that:the arc voltage,jet stability and jet length of the optimized laminar plasma torch are improved 20 V,30%and 20%,respectively,which verifies the effectiveness of the optimization.And further verification has confirmed that the arc voltage is always affected obviously by the arc chamber length and stepped anode could improve the jet stability by suppressing the large scale shunting phenomenon.关键词
