昭苏草原马铃薯鳃金龟幼虫龄期划分及其生活史
Age Classification of Amphimallon solstitiale(L.)Larvae and Their Life Histories in the Zhaosu Grassland

Abstract
Amphimallon solstitiale(L.)is a significant soil-dwelling pest in the warm-temperate meadow grasslands of Zhaosu County,Xinjiang.To clarify the larval instar classification and life history of this pest,larval instar determination was conducted by measuring cephalic width indices of A.solstitiale(L.)larvae.Instar numbers were inferred based on frequency distribution plots and Dyar's rule,then validated using Crosby's rule,linear regression,and exponential regression methods.A population dynamics survey of A.solstitiale(L.)in the warm-temperate meadow grasslands of Zhaosu County,Ili Prefecture,was conducted to analyze its life history in this grassland ecosystem.Results indicated that the cephalic width of A.solstitiale(L.)larvae conformed to both Dyar's and Crosby's rules,exhibiting a clear linear regres-sion relationship.This measurement serves as a crucial indicator for age classification,confirming three distinct instars:Ⅰ(0.76-1.72 mm),Ⅱ(1.84-3.16 mm),and Ⅲ(3.40-4.96 mm).Its life completes one generation every 2-3 years in the warm-temperate meadow grasslands of Zhaosu County,overwinte-ring as larvae in stages Ⅰ-Ⅲ.关键词
