Clinical effect of VR technology in relieving anxiety and pain in patients undergoing hys-teroscopy examination
摘要
Abstract
Objective To explore the clinical effect of VR technology in relieving anxiety and pain in patients undergoing hysteroscopy examination. Methods A total of 133 patients who underwent hysteroscopy for the first time in Fuxing Hospital Affili-ated to Capital Medical University from 2022-11 to 2023-05 were selected as the study objects, and were divided into a control group(65 cases)and an experimental group(68 cases)according to the order of treatment time. The control group received conventional care mode, while the experimental group wore VR glasses to watch videos from 5 minutes before the examination to the end of the ex-amination.The anxiety and pain levels of the two groups during the examination were recorded and compared. The Anxiety Self-rat-ing Scale(SAS)and Visual Analog Scale(VAS)questionnaires were used to evaluate the suitability of VR glasses. Results The SAS scores of the control group and the experimental group were[44(37,48)]points and[38(34,45)]points,with a statistically significant difference(P<0.001).The VAS score of the control group was[5(3,6)]points,and that of the experimental group was[3(2,5)]points,with a statistically significant difference(P<0.001).Of all the patients,97.1%thought that VR glasses were com-fortable,76.4%felt no fatigue at all,67.6%believed that the attraction of the picture and music was greater than 5 points, and 72.1%expressed willingness to use them again. Conclusions VR technology can distract the attention of patients and effectively relieve the anxiety and pain of patients undergoing hysteroscopy examination.关键词
