Transport Corridor Scheme of Tacheng-Ayaguz Section of Third China-Kazakhstan Railway
摘要
Abstract
In response to the congestion at the existing railway ports of Alashankou and Horgos in China is an urgent need to open new corridors to effectively enhance land transportation capacity between China and Central Asian countries.Based on five factors namely national planning compliance,port positioning and division of labor,hinterland corridor capacity,investment in new rail line projects,and construction conditions,this study compared the schemes for the Jeminay,Baktu,and Dulata ports.The Baktu port is identified as the optimal choice for the third railway corridor between China and Kazakhstan.Adopting this proposal will accelerate the formation of a new domestic and international dual circulation pattern,strengthen connectivity with neighboring countries,safeguard the national energy strategy,improve international connectivity,and reinforce international strategic cooperation.Additionally,it will help unlock the potential of tourism resources along the corridor and improve transportation supply in the region,making its construction and implementation highly significant.关键词
