A Protection Scheme for Collector Lines of Doubly-fed Wind Farms Based on Frequency Domain Admittance Model

Abstract
Aiming at the problem of protection adaptability of existing doubly-fed wind farm collector lines,this paper proposes a protection scheme for doubly-fed wind farm collector lines based on frequency domain admittance model.The network architecture and protection configuration of typical doubly-fed wind farm collector lines are analyzed,and the short-circuit current of wind farm collector lines is derived according to the analytical formula of short-circuit current of doubly-fed wind turbines considering the low-voltage ride-through control strategy,combined with the structure of doubly-fed wind farm collector lines.According to the high-frequency component of short-circuit current of doubly-fed wind farm collector line,the frequency domain admittance model of wind farm collector line is constructed.Through the analysis of the fault network under fault conditions inside and outside the region,the protection criterion is constructed according to the difference of the frequency domain admittance model.Finally,it is verified on the RT-LAB platform that the scheme can accurately judge the fault under various fault conditions to ensure the correct operation of protection.关键词
