Abstract

The computational fluid dynamics-discrete phase model(CFD-DPM)numerical simulation method is used to study the wear and erosion of denitrification single-channel catalyst in cement kiln SCR(selective catalytic reduction)reactor.The wear and erosion morphology of each part of the catalyst is analyzed to obtain its erosion characteristics at different locations.The results show that the collision damage of fly ash particles on the catalyst end face is the most serious,and the corner of the end face of the cement kiln SCR denitrification catalyst has the highest risk of wear and erosion,with a wear range of the first 3%of the catalyst along the way.The maximum wear rate of the catalyst wall in 2~7 m/s shows a trend of decreasing and then increasing with the increase of velocity.The overall wear rate shows a normal distribution within the range of 0~90° incident angle,and there is a wear peak at an incident angle of 45°.When the incident angle is adjusted from its peak of 45° to 5°,the average wear rate of the catalyst decreases by 56.47%.Although the wear rate of incident angle greater than 45° also shows a downward trend,its wear effect on the end face of the catalyst is greater than that of small incident angle.In engineering,the incident angle of flue gas should be maintained below 20° to reduce the wear of the front part of the catalyst caused by the incident angle of flue gas.
