基于CiteSpace的中医药治疗视神经萎缩的可视化分析
Visual Analysis of Traditional Chinese Medicine Treatment of Optic Atrophy Based on CiteSpace

Abstract
OBJECTIVE To conduct a visual analysis of the literature in the field of Traditional Chinese Medicine(TCM)treatment for optic atrophy(OA)using CiteSpace.METHODS Relevant literature on TCM treatment for OA from CNKI,Wanfang Data,and PubMed databases up to December 31st,2023,was included.After data cleaning of journal names,institutions,and keywords in the literature,Microsoft Excel 2016 was used to create a graph of the annual publication volume.The frequency of keyword appearance,centrality,and author publication volume were classified and summarized.CiteSpace 6.2.R4 software was employed for visual analysis of the institutions,authors,and keywords in the literature,with the creation of graphs for core authors,research institutions,keyword co-occurrence,clustering,burst,and keyword timeline.RESULTS(1)Annual publications:A total of 301 articles were included in this study.The number of published literature on TCM treatment of OA showed an overall upward trend from 1958 to 2023,a rapid growth period from 2008 to 2017,and a peak in 2015.(2)Source journals:There were 30 journals with≥three publications on TCM treatment for OA,with the top three being Chinese Journal of Traditional Chinese Ophthalmology,Journal of Ophthalmology,Combination of Chinese Traditional Medicine and Western Medicine,and Chinese Acupuncture&Moxibustion.(3)Core authors:A total of 387 authors were involved,forming research teams represented by WEI Qiping,WANG Ying,and YANG Guang.There were 34 authors with≥two publications,with the top three being WEI Qiping,WANG Ying,and LUO Yan.(4)Research institutions:A total of 207 institutions were involved,with 20 institutions having≥two publications,among which China Academy of Chinese Medical Sciences had the highest publication volume.The institutions researching TCM treatment for OA were mainly TCM universities and colleges,with little cooperation among them.Two tightly cooperating institution co-occurrence subnetworks were formed,namely Beijing University of Chinese Medicine and Shaanxi University of Chinese Medicine,but there was no cooperation between them.(5)Keywords:The keyword co-occurrence graph yielded 127 keywords,with 20 keywords having a usage frequency of≥three times.The top three keywords were"acupuncture","glaucoma",and"Chinese medicines".A total of eight clustering modules were obtained,with clustering labels including#0 acupuncture,Chengqi(ST1),Qingmang,evoked potential,clinical efficacy,needle twisting and reinforcing-reducing manipulation,Chinese medicines,and observation on therapeutic effect.Analysis of the keyword timeline graph revealed that research from 1992 to 2003 mainly focused on the observation of the therapeutic effect of acupuncture in treating OA,while research from 2004 to 2013 concentrated on the clinical efficacy of different TCM therapies for OA."Green wind glaucoma","soothing liver and resolving depression"and"resistance index"were research hotspots from 2019 to 2023.Analysis of the keyword burst graph found that the burst terms from 1993 to 2005 included"observation on therapeutic effect","ethambutol"and"evoked potential",while from 2005 to 2016,they were"nursing","acupuncture",and"visual field".From 2016 to 2023,the burst terms were"glaucoma","syndrome differentiation and treatment",and"intraocular pressure".CONCLUSIONS There have been many studies in the field of TCM treatment of optic nerve atrophy,and it is necessary for teams and institutions to strengthen exchanges and cooperation in the future to carry out more high-quality studies.关键词
