Abstract
Vitreous opacity is a condition where pathological changes occur in the ultrastructure of the vitreous humor under multifactorial influences,leading to visual abnormalities in patients.In severe cases,it can even cause varying degrees of visual impairment.Vitreous opacity falls under the category of"Yunwu Yijing"in Traditional Chinese Medicine(TCM).Drawing from TCM visceral theory and his clinical experience,PANG Shouzeng identified three pathological factors contributing to the disease:Ascending disturbance by heat pathogens,stasis obstructing the collaterals,and visceral deficiency.Focusing on fortifying spleen and stomach,soothing liver Qi,and nourishing kidney essence as the core of internal treatment,he applied TCM's holistic approach to leverage the advantages of Chinese medicines in treating Yunwu Yijing,achieving excellent clinical results.关键词
