Exploration of the Pathological Mechanism,Influencing Factors,and Prevention and Treatment Methods of Post-Traumatic Hyperpigmentation Induced by Acupuncture Therapy
摘要
Abstract
Post-traumatic hyperpigmentation(PTH)is one of the less common adverse events associated with traditional acupuncture therapy.However,it tends to occur more frequently in specialized acupuncture techniques such as scarring moxibustion,acupotomy,and elongated needling.Unlike more commonly seen adverse reactions such as subcutaneous hematoma or transient subdermal marks,PTH typically resolves slowly.In some cases,it may become permanent,affecting the patient's appearance and potentially causing psychological distress.This study systematically reviews clinical reports of PTH associated with acupuncture,elaborates on its underlying pathological mechanisms,identifies key influencing factors,and discusses prevention and treatment strategies.The aim is to reduce the incidence of PTH in acupuncture practice and enhance the overall safety of clinical acupuncture procedures.关键词
