Exploring Treatment of Functional Constipation with Acupoint Catgut Embedding Based on Gut-Liver Axis Through Regulation of Intestinal Microecology

Abstract
Functional constipation(FC)is a common functional gastrointestinal disorder,and an imbalance in the intestinal microecology is closely associated with its pathogenesis.The'gut-liver axis' refers to the close connection between the liver and the intestines via the portal venous system,through which they interact and cooperate in immune regulation,metabolism,and host defense.Traditional Chinese medicine also recognizes a close relationship between the Liver and the Large Intestine.The flow of Liver-Qi and blood is influenced by the Large Intestine,while the Large Intestine's transport function is regulated by the Liver's function of dispersing and dredging.This view aligns with the modern concept of the gut-liver axis.The gut-liver axis is closely related to intestinal microecology,mainly through its regulation of the gut microbiota,intestinal mucosal barrier,and immune-inflammatory responses.Based on the gut-liver axis,this study explores the mechanism and therapeutic value of acupoint catgut embedding in treating FC by regulating intestinal microecology,aiming to provide new theoretical support and clinical guidance for the treatment of FC.关键词
