The Historical Value,Current Dilemmas and Future Prospects of Vocational and Technical Teacher Education

Abstract
In retrospect,the emergence and development of vocational and technical teacher education have not only supplied the vocational education sector with qualified instructors,but have also pioneered a unique model of teacher training.This model is notable for establishing a"dual-certificate integration"training system,forming distinctive educational characteristics,and constructing a comprehensive talent development framework that includes bachelor,master and doctoral degrees.Furthermore,it has explored significant reforms such as the vocational education college entrance examination,the articulation between secondary and higher education,and a model for undergraduate institutions to train technicians,thereby making a positive contribution to the reform and development of vocational education in China.Looking to the future,under the background of industrial upgrading,public expectations,the universalization of education,significant demographic shifts,policy changes,and the dual expansion of both vocational and general education,vocational and technical teacher education faces a decline in demand for bachelor-level vocational teachers and the sluggish supply and demand for professional master's degrees.From the perspective of building"a powerful education country",the paper puts forward policy recommendations to elevate the training level of vocational teachers:expanding the scale of professional master programs and implementing an integrated bachelor-to-master degree training system;for professional doctorates,it calls for the accelerated development of a multi-entity,multi-channel and multi-form training framework.关键词
