摘要

Abstract

[Objective]HD-ZIP is a plant-specific class of transcription factors that play crucial regulatory roles in plant growth,development,and stress responses.This study aimed to preliminarily explore the functions of the HD-ZIP family genes in Chrysanthemum seticuspe.This research aimed to preliminarily explore the func-tions of the HD-ZIP gene family in C.seticuspe.[Method]HD-ZIP gene family members in the genome of C.seticuspe were systematically identified,and their basic features were characterized through bioinformatics analy-sis.Furthermore,transcriptomic data and real-time quantitative PCR were used to analyze the expression patterns of the HD-ZIP genes.[Result]A total of 47 HD-ZIP genes were identified in the C.seticuspe genome,named CsHD01-CsHD47.Chromosomal localization analysis revealed that the 47 CsHDs were unevenly distributed across nine chromosomes,with the highest gene density on chromosome 4.Phylogenetic analysis with Arabidopsis thaliana HD-ZIP genes indicated that the 47 CsHDs could be categorized into four subfamilies.Conserved domain and gene structure analyses showed that all CsHDs contain HD and LZ domains,and genes within each subfamily share similar intron numbers.Collinearity analysis identified 10 syntenic gene pairs among CsHDs,and the evolu-tionary selection pressures values of these gene pairs were less than 1,indicating purifying selection.Cis-element analysis revealed that the promoters of CsHDs contained numerous elements associated with hormone as well as low temperature,drought and light responses,suggesting their regulation by multiple pathways.Expression pat-tern analysis indicated that there were significant differences in the expression levels of CsHDs genes across dif-ferent tissues with CsHD03,CsHD30,and CsHD36 exhibiting expression levels strongly correlated with trichome density,implying their potential roles in trichome development.[Conclusion]This study preliminarily elucidates the fundamental characteristics and potential functions of the HD-ZIP family genes in C.seticuspe,providing critical clues and a theoretical foundation for further investigation into the molecular mechanisms of HD-ZIP transcription factors in the growth,development,and stress responses of C.seticuspe.
