摘要

Abstract

[Objective]This study aimed to investigate the optimal population structure of yield and quality compatibility of mountain flue-cured tobacco in Qiannan,Guizhou Province.[Method]Three flue-cured tobacco population structures were set up:15 000(D60),18 000(D50)and 21 000 plant·hm-2(D43).Measurements in-cluded leaf dry matter accumulation,yield and its components,curing loss rate,quality and its components.A comprehensive evaluation using the index sum method was conducted to assess the synergy between yield and quality under different planting densities.[Result]Over two years,single-leaf weight and curing loss rate de-creased with increasing planting density,with D43 being significantly lower than D60.Leaf dry matter accumula-tion,effective leaf count per population,and yield increased with higher density,showing significant differences in yield.The comprehensive yield evaluation ranked D50>D43>D60.For C3F leaves,appearance quality and physical property scores declined with higher density,while B2F leaves exhibited an initial increase followed by a decrease in appearance quality but improved physical properties.Comprehensive scores for appearance quality and physical properties ranked D60>D50>D43.Chemical composition and sensory quality scores initially increased then decreased with higher density,ranking D50>D43>D60.Weighted quality evaluation ranked D50>D43>D60.Integrating yield and quality,the synergy evaluation ranked D50>D43>D60.[Conclusion]Under the eco-logical conditions of southern Guizhou's mountainous areas,the planting density of 18 000 plants·hm⁻²(110 cm row spacing and 50 cm plant spacing)enhanced leaf quality,optimized yield components,reduced curing loss,and achieved quantity-quality coordination in flue-cured tobacco production.
