The Cluster Behavior and Activity Rhythm of Muntiacus Crinifrons in Jiangxi Wuyuan Forest Bird National Nature Reserve

Abstract
The activity rhythms of Muntiacus crinifrons in Jiangxi Wuyuan Forest Bird National Nature Reserve was investigated through infra-red camera technology.220 effective images of Muntiacus crinifrons were collected and the results showed that the predominant group type con-sisted of solitary adult females,followed by solitary adult males,while mixed groups were the least common.The daily activity rhythm of Muntia-cus crinifrons exhibited a bimodal pattern,with the highest peak occurring around 18:00,indicating that Muntiacus crinifrons is a typically diur-nal species.The overlap coefficients of seasonal activity rhythms revealed significant seasonal variations in the activity patterns of Muntiacus cri-nifrons.This findings provided essential data on the activity patterns and social structure of Muntiacus crinifrons in Jiangxi Wuyuan Forest Bird National Nature Reserve.关键词
