Fostering a Strong Sense of Community for the Chinese Nation:Theoretical Genesis,Value Implications,and Practical Pathways

Abstract
Against the backdrop of advancing the great rejuvenation of the Chinese nation on all fronts through Chinese-style moderniza-tion,Xi Jinping has creatively put forward the concept of fostering a strong sense of community for the Chinese nation,thereby promoting the building of a Chinese national community and opening up a new frontier in the sinicization and modernization of Marxist ethnic theory.Drawing on Marx and Engels' concept of"community,"this study actively explores the theoretical genesis and value implications of fostering a strong sense of community for the Chinese nation.Furthermore,it examines practical pathways for strengthening this sense of community from three perspectives:constructing a disciplinary theoretical system grounded in the modern civilization of the Chinese nation;upholding the banner to re-inforce identification with the Chinese nation;and strengthening cultural confidence to consolidate the cultural foundation.These efforts aim to build momentum and provide practical guidance for building a strong modern socialist country and achieving the great rejuvenation of the Chi-nese nation.关键词
