摘要

Abstract

As an important symbol of Chinese culture,the giant panda is embedded in the media-constructed space of meaning that connects ecological culture,It has become a representative case for inheriting and promoting traditional ecological governance wisdom and for conveying ecological cultural values.Based on the dimensions of embeddedness,cohesion,and interweaving in national cultural identity,this study explores the construction of the giant panda's media image and its ecological significance,contributing to the enrichment of international communication frameworks.The research has found that the transition from"panda fever"to"panda worry"and embedding distinct mnemonic cues within this"ecological significance"context.Grounded in the question of how to protect giant pandas,a"three-in-one"concept of a life community-with protection,utilization,and development as its core elements-has emerged,fostering a shared understanding of macroecological knowledge.In global dialogues,ecological friendliness and biodiversity have become important arenas for international cooperation.Through shared cultural identity,collective emotional resonance is woven.Thus,the act of"protecting pandas"is not merely a matter of technical or instrumental logic,but represents a mode of existence closely tied to human activity and environmental factors.The media image of the giant panda embeds the con-cept of ecological civilization,disseminating China's ecological philosophy while also embodying the narrative of Chinese modernization-a story of harmonious coexistence between humanity and nature,rooted in a sense of community.
