Mechanism of Shenbailing Granules in treating cancer-related fatigue in patients with breast cancer based on the theory of"depression and toxin leading to deficiency"

Abstract
Cancer-related fatigue is the most common and long-lasting symptom in breast cancer patients,seriously affecting their quality of life.Professor LIU Caigang,an apprentice of traditional Chinese medicine(TCM)master ZHANG Jingsheng,proposed the theory of"depression and toxin leading to deficiency"in breast cancerand advocates the concept of precise diagnosis andtreatment of modern medicine guided by TCM theory.According to this theory,the pathogenesis of cancer-related fatigue can be summarized as"depression as the cause,toxin as the source,and deficiency as the result".Clinical treatment should comprehensively relieve"depressive state",clear and eliminate the"toxic state",and tonify the"deficient state".In view of the multi-system and multi-target synergistic pathogenic characteristics of cancer-related fatigue,Professor LIU proposed the theory of"multi-target network regulation",constructed a tumor immune knowledge map,and developed Shenbailing Granules.Through the multi-component,multi-target,and multi-level network regulation of Chinese medicine,micro-level regulation targeting imbalances in the neuroendocrine axis,immune-inflammatory axis,and energy-metabolism axis can be achieved.This precise treatment strategy,combining macro-and micro-level approaches,aims to effectively alleviate cancer-related fatigue and improve the quality of life of breast cancer patients.关键词
