摘要

Abstract

The Qinghai-Tibet Plateau is a sensitive and fragile ecological area responding to climate change and human activities.Few studies focused on the interaction of winter warming and clipping on the ecosystem functions of alpine grassland in this area.This study carried out a field experiment on the alpine grassland of Qinghai-Tibet Plateau to explore how winter warming,clipping,and their interaction impact soil properties,as well the enzyme activities related to carbon,nitrogen,and phosphorus cycling,microbial biomass,and microbial community composition.The results showed that both winter warming and clipping increased soil temperature but decreased soil water content(SWC),with an increase of soil temperature by 3.98℃ and a significant decrease of SWC by 34.39%(P<0.001)under their interaction.Winter warming(P=0.023),clipping(P=0.025),and their interaction(P=0.005)significantly affected soil pH.Soil available nitrogen significantly changed under the interaction of winter warming and clipping(P=0.020),while other nutrient properties showed no significant response to winter warming,clipping,and their interaction(P>0.05).Two-way ANOVA showed that clipping had a more significant ecological effect on soil functions compared to warming and warming-clipping interaction.In detail,clipping significantly increased enzyme activities related to soil carbon and nitrogen cycling,as well as microbial biomass carbon and nitrogen.However,winter warming,clipping,and their interaction did not significantly affect soil phosphorus cycling enzyme activity and microbial biomass phosphorus.The main bacterial taxa were Proteobacteria,Actinobacteria,Acidobacteria,and Gemmatimonadetes,while the main fungal taxa were Mortierellomycota,Basidiomycota,and Ascomycota.However,winter warming,clipping,and their interaction did not significantly affect microbial diversity and community composition.4)Correlation analysis showed that SWC was significantly and negatively correlated with microbial biomass nitrogen.Meanwhile,SWC showed a more significant correlation with microbial biomass carbon,although it is insignificant.Additionally,microbial biomass carbon and nitrogen were significantly and positively related to soil carbon and nitrogen cycling enzyme activities.This suggested that changes in SWC under clipping might affect soil carbon and nitrogen cycling enzyme activities by regulating microbial biomass carbon and nitrogen.These findings enriched and expanded the understanding of the influence process and mechanism of winter climate change and human management on alpine grassland ecosystem,and have a particular guiding role in accurately predicting the dynamic changes of organic carbon and nutrients in alpine grassland.
