植被和土壤养分对食草动物粪便的不同响应
Differential responsesof vegetation and soil nutrients to herbivore feces
摘要
Abstract
[Objective]Herbivores with different body types not only utilize grasslands differently, but also have different contents of nitrogen and phosphorus released through feces, thereby affecting the availability of plant and soil nutrients.[Result]The study was conducted at a long-term monitoring sampling site of the Sanjiangyuan Station in Qumalai County,to analyze theresponse of plant and soil carbon, nitrogen, and phosphorus to the feces from common herbivorous animals through investigation, sampling, and fecal addition experiments.[Results]1)The carbon,nitro-gen,and phosphorus content in the feces of Tibetan antelopes was the highest, while that of Tibetan wild donkeys was the lowest.2)The response of aboveground biomass and diversity of plants to fecal addition was not significant, while the response of plant nitrogen and phosphorus nutrients to fecal addition was significant, mainly occurring in the early stage of fecal addition.3)The effect of fecal addition on the nutrients in the surface soil(0-20 cm)delayed its effect on plants. With the exception of Tibetan antelopes, other treatments had good promotion results on soil and mi-crobial nutrients-especially the high-density treatment of domestic yaks and Tibetan wild donkeys-significantly promoting effects on increasing soil nutrients than other treatments.[Conclusion]Feces from smaller herbivores have higher nutrient concentrations. The response time and degree of plants and soil to fecal addition differ, among all treat-ments,the return of yak manure to grasslands is more conducive to the accumulation of soil and vegetation nutrients.关键词
