How Vocational Education Teachers Can Become Educationalist Teachers in the Era of Artificial Intelligence

Abstract

Artificial intelligence presents both opportunities and challenges for vocational education teachers.When facing AI's partial substitution for teaching tasks and its strong suppor capabilities,they must critically examine their identity transformation and reconstruct subjectivity through the educator's spirit.Vocational education teachers are compelled to upgrade roles via technological substitution,guided to adhere to education's essence through humanistic reaffirmation,and driven toward holistic development by ecological reconstruction.Regarding connotation,vocational education teachers of educationalist embody four dimensions:first,noble ethical virtues including strong national beliefs,profound vocational commitment,and transcendent life perspectives;second,professional rationality encompassing people-oriented pedagogy,industry-focused economic thinking,and systematic theoretical cognition;third,reform resilience shaped by being educational pioneers and practical wisdom achievers;fourth,technical proficiency in mastering AI technologies and their deep applications.To grow into vocational education teachers of educationalist,they should root themselves in innovative practices,engage in dialogic communication,and leverage intelligent empowerment,while relevant entities should foster collaborative environments to provide important guarantees for their growth.
