Abstract
A solid welding wire of 800 MPa high-strength steel was developed,and the effects of four heat inputs of 10 kJ/cm,13.7 kJ/cm,16.4 kJ/cm,and 22.1 kJ/cm on the microstructure and mechanical properties of the deposited metal were systematically studied using the polar active gas protection arc welding process.Through characterization methods such as optical microscopy(OM),scanning electron microscopy(SEM),and energy dispersive spectrometer(EDS),it was found that the microstructure of the deposited metal under the four heat input conditions was composed of granular bainite,plate bainite,acicular ferrite,side plate ferrite,and pre-eutectoid ferrite.With the increase of heat input,the content of plate bainite gradually decreased,the content of acicular ferrite first increased and then decreased,and the side plate ferrite,pre-eutectoid ferrite,and grain boundary ferrite successively precipitated and grew.Mechanical property tests showed that the tensile strength and yield strength of the deposited metal decreased with the increase of heat input,while the impact absorp-tion energy at-40℃first increased and then decreased.When the heat input was 13.7 kJ/cm,the comprehensive perfor-mance of the deposited metal was the best,with a tensile strength of 870 MPa,a impact absorption energy at-40℃of 62-104 J,and an average value of 84 J,showing excellent strength and toughness matching.关键词
