摘要

Abstract

In response to the local repair needs of the 308L stainless steel cladding layer on the sealing surface of nuclear re-actor pressure vessels,manual tungsten inert gas arc welding technology was employed.Welding tests were conducted on SA508-Ⅲ low-alloy steel base material mock-ups at different depths(1 mm,2 mm,3 mm)to systematically study the ther-mal impact of welding and the deformation characteristics of the weld toe area.The results show that when the total thick-ness of the stainless steel cladding layer is 6 mm and the welding current is 90 A,a repair depth of up to 3 mm will not cause thermal effects on the underlying low-alloy steel structure.Its microstructure remains in the original form of blocky ferrite and pearlite,with no hard and brittle martensite formation.The microhardness distribution in the weld and heat-affected zone is stable(weld area approximately 210 HV,stainless steel layer approximately 200 HV,low-alloy steel base material approxi-mately 120 HV).However,after repair,there is a maximum depression of 19.614 μm in the weld toe area,which needs to be eliminated by subsequent machining to ensure the flatness of the sealing surface.This study for the first time defines the safe process window for manual tungsten inert gas arc welding repair of the 308L cladding layer(≤3 mm repair depth/90 A cur-rent),providing a key technical basis for the precise local repair of the sealing surface of nuclear reactor pressure vessels.
