Abstract
The installation position of the built-in booster transformer in the wind turbine is special.The conse-quences of failure that cannot be quickly and reliably removed are serious.Firstly,in order to improve the pro-tection configuration and enhance the sensitivity and reliability,the conventional protection configuration is ana-lyzed.If the low-voltage winding of the transformer has malfunctioned,the sensitivity of the quick break protec-tion and overload protection does not meet the requirements.It is necessary to install differential protection for the transformer.Secondly,the built-in booster transformer in the wind turbine simultaneously supply power to the local load in the nacelle,which is small.Differential protection settings should be set according to incom-plete differential protection.It is not necessary to add current transformers in this winding.For the problem of small space of the nacelle,some suggestions are given for the installation location of transformers and other de-vices,as well as the signal acquisition method of differential protection devices.Finally,combined with practi-cal engineering,a specific implementation plan is provided.Protection setting calculations are conducted and a simulation model is finished on MATLAB Simulink to verify the rationality of the protection configuration.关键词
