摘要

Abstract

Direct borohydride fuel cell(DBFC)has been widely concerned due to their high energy density and safety.However,the development of efficient and cost-effective anode catalysts for DBFC remains a critical challenge.An amorphous NiFeP catalyst with a hollow sphere structure was synthe-sized on a nickel foam substrate and the morphology and electrochemical properties.The results dem-onstrate that the catalyst achieved a peak current density of 300.7 mA/cm² during the borohydride oxidation reaction(BOR).When applied to a DBFC system,the peak power density reached 621.3 mW/cm².The excellent BOR performance can be attributed to the enhanced intrinsic catalytic activ-ity resulting from the highly efficient active sites in the amorphous species,as well as the large spe-cific surface area provided by the three-dimensional hollow sphere structure.
