湖北利川尖子山剖面二叠纪—三叠纪之交牙形石生物地层及其对微生物岩发育时代的指示
Conodont biostratigraphy around the Permian-Triassic boundary from the Jianzishan section,Lichuan,Hubei Province,and its implications for the age of microbialites

Abstract
The Permian-Triassic mass extinction,the largest extinction event in Phanerozoic history,was followed by the global development of microbialites.However,the precise timing of these microbialites in relation to the extinction remains controversial.During the Permian-Triassic period,the Jianzishan section in Hubei Province was deposited in the deeper environments of a shallow platform.The complete stratigraphic sequences and the appearance of microbialites in this section provide an opportunity to investigate the age of microbialites after the Permian-Triassic mass extinction.In this study,detailed conodont taxonomy and biostratigraphy were carried out at the Jianzishan section.Conodonts were identified as 19 species belonging to 3 genera,allowing for the recognition of five conodont zones:Clarkina yini Zone,Hindeodus changxingensis Zone,Hindeodus parvus Zone,Isarcicella lobata Zone,and Isarcicella isarcica Zone,in ascending order.The complete sequence of conodont zones around the Permian-Triassic boundary at the Jianzishan section allows for accurate comparison with other global sections.According to the first appearance of Hindeodus parvus,the Permian-Triassic boundary at the Jianzishan section is placed in the limestone,0.1 m below the microbialites.This finding indicates that the microbialites in this section are of Early Triassic Griesbachian age.关键词
