贵州埃迪卡拉系—寒武系凝灰岩中锆石U-Pb年龄及其地质意义
Zircon U-Pb ages and its geological significance of Ediacara-Cambrian tuff from Guizhou,South China

Abstract
The Dengying and Laobao formations are important Ediacaran-Cambrian stratigraphic units in South China.This study presents integrated zircon cathodoluminescence(CL)and U-Pb isotopic data from tuffaceous layers intercalated within these formations.Samples were collected from diverse depositional settings across Guizhou Province,encompassing platform facies(Xinzhai section,Yankong area;Jianfengding and Wangjianshan sections,Songlin area),the transition zone(Niujiaochong and Xinchong sections,Pianyan area),and slope facies(Guabang section,Sanshui area).Zircon LA-ICP-MS U-Pb dating of the tuffaceous layers yielded crystallization ages of 532±4 Ma,536±5 Ma,and 535±4 Ma for the Xinzhai,Wangjianshan,and Xinchong sections,respectively.The Jianfengding,Niujiaochong,and Guabang sections yielded ages of 520±4 Ma,517±3 Ma,and 521±3 Ma,respectively.Synthesizing these new data with previously published results,the depositional ages of the Dengying and Laobao formations are constrained from 551.1±0.7 Ma to 518±5 Ma and 550.6±3.3 Ma to 517±3 Ma,respectively.This extended temporal range suggests a period of contemporaneous,yet spatially heterogeneous sedimentation.Furthermore,uranium-rich phosphorite deposits associated with these formations exhibit distinct age ranges:546.3±2.7 Ma to 532±4 Ma in the Yankong area,536±5 Ma to 520±4 Ma in the Songlin area,and 535±4 Ma to 517±3 Ma in the Pianyan area.关键词
