Abstract
Red mud,as a waste slag discharged from refining aluminum ore,has the characteristics of large natural water content,high compressibility and poor mechanical properties.It can not be used directly as the foundation supporting layer of structures without treatment.In order to study the compaction characteristics of the reshaped red mud samples under different click work,different layered virtual paving thickness,different rolling times and the change rule of shear strength index affected by saturation,simulating red mud rolling and shearing process through indoor compaction test,on-site rolling test and quick shear test.Research indicates:Under the same single-click work condition,as saturation increasing,dry density shows a trend of increasing firstly and then decreasing;The red mud with the same water content can obtain greater dry density and saturation with the increase of the click work,the dry density-saturation curve shows a tendency of moving to the upper right;Under the premise of the same rolling energy,the dry density of red mud increases firstly and then decreases with the increase of the times of rollingpasses,compared with 80 cm thick red mud,50 cm thick red mud can obtain greater dry density after rolling;the shear strength index shows the changing law of increasingfirstly and then decreasing with the increase of saturation.关键词
