Monitoring and Analysis of Surface Subsidence at the Jinzhou Oilfield Using Time Series InSAR

Abstract
As one of the significant energy bases in the Liaohe Delta region,the Jinzhou Oilfield is subject to intense oil extraction activities,leading to significant surface subsidence issues that pose a severe threat to the safe production of oilfield and surrounding infrastructure.Based on the ascending and descending orbit interferometric synthetic aperture radar(InSAR)data from Sentinel-1 satellite from 2017 to 2021,we utilized the small baseline subset InSAR time series technique to acquire the surface deformation velocity and time series data of the Jinzhou Oilfield.Furthermore,we used a fusion decomposition method for ascending and descending orbits to extract the vertical and east-west directional deformations of deformation areas.The findings of this study indicate that①the Jinzhou Oilfield exhibits noticeable subsidence,with the maximum vertical subsidence speed at the extraction center of oilfield area reaching 50.9 mm/a.②The Jinzhou Oilfield experiences significant horizontal displacement,with east-west horizontal displacement directed towards the subsidence center of oilfield,reaching a maximum speed of 26.0 mm/a.③By integrating the reservoir compaction subsidence model,the surface subsidence of the Jinzhou Oilfield was simulated,establishing a link between oilfield extraction activities and surface subsidence.关键词
