Differential Protection Method for Active Distribution Networks Based on Projection of Positive-sequence Current Fault Component
摘要
Abstract
To address the impact of complex and stochastic fault characteristics of distributed generations(DGs)on the feeder current protection in distribution networks,a differential protection method based on the projection of positive-se-quence current fault component is proposed.First,the control strategies for DGs and the relationship between the out-put current of inverter-interfaced DG(IIDG)and the voltage at a grid-connected point are analyzed.Second,the charac-teristic differences in positive-sequence current fault components among different types of DG are investigated.Through the analysis of the evolution of fault characteristics in IIDG-integrated distribution networks under voltage sags and phase-angle jumps at the grid-connected point,a differential protection criterion is constructed based on the projection of positive-sequence current fault components.Finally,the effectiveness of the proposed method is validated through PSCAD/EMTDC simulations.关键词
