摘要

Abstract

To address the impact of complex and stochastic fault characteristics of distributed generations(DGs)on the feeder current protection in distribution networks,a differential protection method based on the projection of positive-se-quence current fault component is proposed.First,the control strategies for DGs and the relationship between the out-put current of inverter-interfaced DG(IIDG)and the voltage at a grid-connected point are analyzed.Second,the charac-teristic differences in positive-sequence current fault components among different types of DG are investigated.Through the analysis of the evolution of fault characteristics in IIDG-integrated distribution networks under voltage sags and phase-angle jumps at the grid-connected point,a differential protection criterion is constructed based on the projection of positive-sequence current fault components.Finally,the effectiveness of the proposed method is validated through PSCAD/EMTDC simulations.
