Abstract

With increasing environmental awareness and technological advancements,the large-scale application of electric vehicles(EVs)has become a pivotal solution to addressing climate change and the energy crisis.To tackle the challenges posed by uncoordinated charging of large-scale EVs on the stable distribution network(DN)operation,this paper proposes a double-layer collaborative optimization scheduling method for EV and DN,incorporating demand response and carbon quotas.Initially,the travel characteristics of EV users are examined,and the impacts of environmental temperature and speed on energy consumption are analyzed.EV loads are modeled to capture their spatiotemporal distribution characteristics.Subsequently,time-of-use pricing encourages EVs to participate in demand response,thereby reducing net load fluctuations.Furthermore,the operation mode of a carbon quota mechanism based on dynamic carbon pricing is analyzed,establishing a dual incentive mechanism that integrates demand response and carbon quotas to reduce the carbon emissions of the DN.Then,double-layer collaborative optimization scheduling model for EV and DN has been developed.The upper-layer model aims to minimize the total operating cost of DN,whereas the lower-layer model focuses on minimizing network losses.This further enhances the system's economic efficiency and low-carbon performance.Finally,an improved PSO-SA algorithm is employed to solve this dual-layer model.Consequently,case study results demonstrate that the proposed method reduces total costs by 10.04%,decreases network losses by 1.57%,effectively suppresses load fluctuations,and significantly enhances DN's economic and low-carbon performance.
