Research on Compound Differential Protection Method of Symmetrical Dual Core Phase Shifting Transformer

Abstract
As a power flow control equipment,symmetrical dual core phase shifting transformer can realize the dynamic adjustment of transmission power transmission power of transmission lines,which greatly improves the flexibility of power flow transmission.However,due to its complex and compact wiring form and internal structure,the symmetrical dual core phase shifting transformer has complex topological structure and the coupling and interleaving of internal fault characteristics,which brings difficulties to its body protection configuration.In order to solve this problem,based on the analysis of its magnetic circuit structure,this paper establishes a symmetrical dual core phase shifting transformer composite differential protection scheme based on basic circuit principles such as Kirchhoffs current law and electromagnetic induction law.This scheme configures only one set of relays which can reflect the turn-to-turn and turn-to-ground faults of series transformers and excitation transformers and the short-circuit faults of the lines between them.In addition,the specific fault location is realized in combination with the current balance differential,not only reducing the actual number of current transformers,but also increasing economic benefits.Eventually,in order to verify the feasibility and effectiveness of the scheme proposed in this paper,a simulation model of symmetrical dual core phase shifting transformer is established by MATLAB/Simulink and a large number of simulation is carried out.关键词
