Research Progress on Antibacterial Effects of Essential Oils and Their Regulation on Gastrointestinal Microorganism in Livestock and Poultry
摘要
Abstract
Essential oils(EOs)have strong antibacterial effects,which can regulate the intestinal microbiota of livestock and poultry,improve the metabolism of intestinal microorganisms,and improve the productivity.This paper introduced the antibacterial effect of EOs,and revealed the antibacterial mechanism through destroying the bacterial cell structure and molecular substances,interfering with the bacterial respiration and energy metab-olism,regulating signaling pathways.In addition,the paper also summarized the regulation of EOs on gastroin-testinal microorganisms in livestock and poultry,aiming to provide a theoretical basis for the further develop-ment and application of antibacterial agents in the production of EOs.[Chinese Journal of Animal Nutrition,2025,37(7):4256-4264].关键词
