摘要

Abstract

In order to effectively locate targets of the gold ore bodies in the west Gobi area of Hami City,Xinjiang Uygur Autonomous Region,and guide the future exploration work,the authors carried out a study by means of rock geochemical and high-precision magnetic survey at a scale of 1∶10 000.Results ob-tained are as follows:(1)There are two magnetic field areas and seven magnetic anomalies,generally re-flecting low-medium gentle magnetic field characteristics of volcanic rocks in the area;(2)Based on the single-element anomalies,10 comprehensive geochemical anomalies have been identified,and the compre-hensive geochemical anomalies are dominated by the anomaly Au,Bi,As and Hg,and each element anom-aly is well fitted,and each element shows three obvious tertiary zonings;(3)based on geophysical and ge-ochemical anomaly characteristics,the study area was divided into the northern siliceous rock mineraliza-tion zone,the central gold-bearing quartz vein mineralization zone,and the southern gold-bearing tuf-faceous sandstone mineralisation zone,and five prospective target zones were defined.The above results would guide the future prospecting direction in the area and study on polymetallic prospecting in similar areas.
