摘要

Abstract

The western area of Xinzhou City is located in the central east Loess Plateau,with a thick loess cover and strong structural movement.Not only slope geological disasters such as collapses and landslides but also debris flows take place here.Rainfall is the key factor inducing the formation of debris flows.Ta-nyaogou Valley of Tiejiangpu Village in Baode County is chosen as an example to study the formation con-ditions and development characteristics of debris flow in the westem loess area of Xinzhou and provide the basis for the prevention and control of the local debris flow disasters.Field investigation was conducted,exploratory wells drilled and the development conditions and characteristics of debris flow analyzed.Then the monitoring and early warning equipment were deployed and operated.The correlation between rainfall and other factors in the typical rainfall process during the flood season of recent three years are clarified:water table change of Tanyaogou debris flow is positively correlated with the accumulated rainfall,and the flood discharge capacity of the river channel,and geological conditions.On this basis,four different early warning levels of mud flow water table threshold were proposed,providing a reference for the follow up monitoring and early warning of debris flow.
