Characterization and evaluation of 11 new hybrid rice varieties
摘要
Abstract
[Purpose]The characteristics of new hybrid rice varieties were studied,with a view to providing a scientific basis for the further test and screening of new elite rice varieties suitable for promotion in Nanping City.[Method]According to the methods of regional trials for rice,field surveys were conducted for the main agronomic traits and yield performance of 11 new hybrid rice varie-ties in Jianyang District,Nanping City,with Heliangyou 676 in the regional trial for mid-season rice in Fujian Province as the con-trol(CK).Furthermore,the resistance to rice blast,bacterial blight,and rice planthoppers and the rice quality were analyzed.[Result]The actual yield of the 11 tested varieties ranged from 8.043 t·hm-2 to 10.398 t·hm-2,with 8 varieties,including Fux-ingyou 418,Zhenliangyou 2183,and Zhiliangyou 606,outyielding CK.(2)Four varieties including Zhiliangyou 606,Fuxingyou 627,and Zhenliangyou 2183 showed resistance to rice blast,and Fuxingyou 418 demonstrated moderate resistance to rice blast.Jin-liangyou 3 and Jinliangyouzhenzhan showcased moderate resistance to bacterial blight.All the tested varieties had high susceptibility to rice planthoppers.(3)The rice quality of seven varieties including Fuxingyou 627,Jiayou 2301,and Jinliangyouzhenzhan reached the second-class grade of the ministerial standard for rice quality,and that of three varieties(Fuxingyou 418,Minxiangyou 808,and Zhiliangyou 606)reached the third-class grade.[Conclusion]Among the 11 new varieties,Fuxingyou 418,Zhenliangy-ou 2183,and Zhiliangyou 606 show excellent comprehensive performance,and they can be applied in production after being ap-proved.Six varieties including Jiayou 9370,Jinliangyouzhenzhan,and Fuxingyou 627 demonstrating medium performance regarding yield,resistance,and rice quality are suggested to be included in the further test.Shengliangyouminnongzhan and Minxiangyou 808 with poor performance should be filtered out.关键词
