Abstract
Within the range defined by the planned red line,sea reclamation area shall be maximized,and an eco-friendly shoreline shall be designed to show the harmonious coexistence between humans and nature.As a flexible structure,gabion structure has a higher bearing capacity than that of upright concrete wall and adapts to the foundation well.Based on one revetment project,the related forces acting on the gabion structure was studied through the comparative analysis of physical models combined with numerical models.The upright gabion revetment bore less wave forces and floating force at wall bottom and rear earth pressure compared with the upright concrete wall.In addition,the structure durability was also discussed to a certain extent.The research results may provide a reference for the application of upright gabion structures in coastal projects in future.关键词
