Clinical Value of Ultrasound Evaluation of Axillary Lymph Node Characteris-tics Combined with Primary Lesion Characteristics in Diagnosing Axillary Lymph Node Metastasis in Breast Cancer

Abstract
Objective:To explore the clinical value of ultrasound evaluation of axillary lymph node(ALN)characteristics combined with primary lesion characteristics in diagnosing breast cancer ALN metastasis.Methods:A total of 107 breast cancer patients from January 2022 to December 2022 were selected,and all underwent ultrasound examination using the results of pathological examination as the gold standard.Receiver operating characteristic(ROC)curve and area under the curve(AUC)were used to analyze the diagnostic value of ALN characteristics and primary lesion characteristics for ALN metastasis in breast cancer.Results:The puncture pathological examination showed that among the 107 breast cancer patients,40 had ALN metastasis and 67 had no ALN metastasis.There were significant differences in tumor diameter,tumor margin,ALN boundary,cortical thickness,cortical classification,blood flow distribution,and blood flow grading between the metastatic group and the non-metastatic group(P<0.05).The AUC value for tumor diameter,tumor margin,ALN boundary,cortical thickness,cortical classification,blood flow distribution,and blood flow grading diagnosis in the ROC curve analysis ranged from 0.734 to 0.841.However,the AUC value for the combined diagnosis(primary lesion characteristics+ALN characteristics)reached 0.931,which was significantly higher than that of the individual characteristics(P<0.05).Conclusion:The value of ultrasound evaluation of ALN characteristics combined with primary lesion characteristics in diagnosing breast cancer ALN metastasis is reliable and can provide guidance for clinical diagnosis and treatment.关键词
