Abstract
Since the 21st century,China's natural gas industry has achieved significant progress,establishing a diversified supply portfolio and an integrated production-supply-storage-marketing system.Within China's modernization framework,natural gas is poised to fulfill several critical roles,acting as a clean energy catalyst for urbanization,serving as a primary substitute for high-carbon industrial fuels,providing growth pole and peak support for clean electricity integration,enabling clean heavy-duty transport,and acting as a key feedstock unlocking the hydrogen energy value chain.Against the backdrop of an accelerating global energy landscape transformation,ensuring the high-quality development of China's natural gas sector requires focused action.The paper recommends strengthening policy guidance and further clarifying its development positioning,continuously improving natural gas supply system with internal and external integration,bettering natural gas storage system and bolstering capacity and emergency response,facilitating the synergetic development between natural gas and new energy,and further deepening energy market-oriented reforms.关键词
